The world has been inhabitated by Pokemon for many generations, long before humans existed. One day a bright light that outshined the sun covered the sky. A white light that sent flying pieces of itself across the world, shooting into normal Pokemon. These Pokemon then took human forms, yet still retained their abilities and natural instincts. Professors across the world had classified them as Gijinka. These new species couldn't be identified by a normal Pokedex, so top scientists across the world came together and created 'Dex'.
A human Pokedex that could actually identify the new race. These Gijinka are all over the world, but only a rare selected few have been chosen. Normal humans have grown to fear these creatures and battled them. Some were caught for personal reasons, put on display, sold, or just jailed for no reason once-so-ever. A few have made human companions and are protected while many of the rest are still roaming free, waiting to find a purpose in life with their new selves.
They now constantly wonder why they have been chosen and are treated the way they are. It's up to you what you will do with them. Choose your path on what you will do with the Gijinka. Are you the type to capture and battle to make it to the top? Or maybe start a new Gijinka Center to help and protect them? Maybe even use their power for evil and take over the world? The choice is yours, trainer.
